DISCLAIMER

Variations in yarn, weave and colour with occasional fiber migration are unique and intrinsic to this handwoven luxury textile.

Textiles made on handloom possess unique product characteristics and may have irregularities that are an outcome of the human involvement in the process.

When you transact with us, you expressly and unconditionally agree that the company uses handmade processes to weave and finish the products. Use of natural fibres that are hand crafted with traditional methods often create an unevenness in colour tones, shades, texture, with threads often appearing uneven in design and feel and occasional darn (rafu). We use both organic and commercial dyes with an objective of making the product sustainable. The purchaser agrees that these irregularities are an indigenous inclusion in handloom and are not defects.

Kindly Note: The original colour may vary slightly due to your device screen settings or photography.

Shir Shikargah. A classic theme from medieval times that gained popularity into India with an influx of Persian weavers from Central Asia and the Iranian plateau, Shikargah remains the epitome of weaves from Banaras. Shir Shikargah with majestic lions, golden deers, quirky parrots and glorious peacocks complimented with ogival cartouches, leaf patterns and floral arabesques demonstrate creativity and master craftsmanship in handweave. Rooted in mythology and reality, the magical world of animals in nature that we pride and preserve beyond man made barriers, she is the ultimate collectible. A celebration of life, a subject that is timeless and art that needs no revival. Shir Shikargahi in ferozi or turquoise blue, heirloom for every bride.
